Eating, Eating, and More Eating

My weekend was completely and utterly filled with food.

Friday: I was up waaay too early (5:15) to work the opening shift at GH. It wasn't so bad when I got there, and I made it through with the help of a yummy blackberry oat bran muffin and two mugs of cherry mint tea. :) After that, I avoided the urge to collapse on my bed and went to the gym and biked and did the elliptical. I did my weights and situps and THEN I collapsed on to Clay's bed and took a nice hour long nap. I then went to work at Petit Pois where I had fried rice with egg, asparagus, and peas, potatoes, and a little beef. I came home to Dani and Co., visiting from Pennsylvania and we all had a fun night!

Saturday: Worked a small shift from 11-3 at GH, and Dani and Co. + Clay visited me for lunch! When I got back I hung out with gang a little bit more, then trekked over to the gym and put in more time on the elliptical and treadmill. More weights and situps followed, and then I got ready for the first meal in my whirlwind of good food for the weekend: Clay and I went on a hot date to Mas Tapas!! I had never been before, and I was SO SO excited. We had to wait for about an hour for our table but it was totally worth it. I felt really trendy to be out on a late night dinner date like that.
